Chers amis,
A la suite du faire-part du décès de Jean Vanier que vous avez reçu, nous vous informons que les obsèques de Jean, conformément à sa volonté, seront célébrées à Trosly-Breuil le jeudi 16 mai à 14 heures.
Nombreux sont ceux qui voudraient assister à cette cérémonie. Le désir de Jean de préserver une certaine intimité et les questions complexes de logistique nécessitent de limiter le nombre de participants à la capacité d’accueil du lieu. Seuls ceux qui auront reçu une invitation personnelle pourront y assister.
Cependant, pour que chacun puisse s’y associer, la cérémonie sera filmée et diffusée en direct sur la télévision française KTO (www.ktotv.com) où la cérémonie sera aussi traduite en anglais.

Following the announcement of Jean Vanier’s passing that you have received, we want to inform you that, according to his will, Jean’s funeral will be held at Trosly-Breuil on Thursday 16 May at 2.00 pm.
There are many who would wish to attend this ceremony. Following Jean’s desire to have an intimate celebration and due to logistical complexity and size of the venue, we have had to limit the number of attendees, and only those who have received a private invitation will be able to attend this ceremony.
However, in order to allow each of you to participate, the celebration will be broadcasted live on the French TV channel KTO ( www.ktotv.com) ; an English translation will be available on that same channel.
