Biography of Isabelle Hudon, Canadian Ambassador to France and Monaco

The first woman Ambassador to France Isabelle Hudon works tirelessly to advance Canada's interests in three priority areas: developing bilateral trade and investment opportunities, promoting feminist foreign policy and strengthening cultural diplomacy. Medalist of the National Assembly for her commitment to the women's cause, co-founder of L'effet A, which strives to propel women's professional commitment, President, Board Member or Chief Executive Officer at Hydro-Québec, Sun Life, the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal or the Canada Council for the Arts, Isabelle Hudon is one of the women of action who mark their era. Describing herself as an "activist" of women's empowerment, her action to stimulate and concretize women's ambition is remarkable.  With her experience, expertise and conviction, Isabelle Hudon is a remarkable Canadian Ambassador who defends Canada's interests and increases the country's influence in France.
