This outing will take us to the Château de Vincennes, a vast medieval fortress located just east of Paris. Former royal residence and then prison, it is best known for its 14th century dungeon, one of the highest in Europe, as well as for its impressive moats and ramparts.

To begin, Lily will make a presentation of the fortress, its history and its importance for the city of Paris (in French, about 20 minutes), then we will take a tour of the interior without a guide.

Then, if the weather is nice, we can take a walk and have a snack in the Bois de Vincennes, or in case of bad weather, we can go for a coffee nearby.
