Welcome back dear members!
We have GREAT news to share with you this fall: the Association is getting up to date and is opting for the inclusive writing of our internet communications and social networks : hello to the Association of Canadians in Paris! After all, we already have 23% male members. It is a development we are proud of, and one that opens the door to everyone. Founded 45 years ago, the ACP reflects the importance of adapting in order to evolve, and inclusion is, in our opinion, a value that it's time to fully embrace.
Another new feature this fall is the creation of the ACP Ambassadors Circle, whose mission is to promote the development and visibility of the ACP among leading Canadian authorities in Paris (governmental, institutional, etc). Meet our first two members:
- Geneviève des Rivières, former Canadian ambassador with keen knowledge of diplomatic relations. She is also very active in France-Amériques.
- Olivier Descriaux, from Descriaux Avocats, private and public lawyer. Deeply involved in the Canadian institutional community in Paris, he is a Swiss army knife of the law!
