Message from the President

Dear members,

March is finally here, bringing with it the promise of longer days, (slightly) milder temperatures, and—hopefully—the end of winter coats worn “just in case”
It perfectly reflects the energy that drives our association : friendly, curious, and firmly focused on bringing people together.

At the Association of Canadians in Paris, we are committed to creating opportunities to connect, exchange, and continue discovering our adopted city together—even after many years in Paris.

This month’s program is as varied as our brunch-time conversations. We’ll be delighted to get together at the Paris Expat Canadian Meetup on March 18, the perfect occasion to put the world to rights (or at least compare French and Canadian winters). We’ll then continue with our brunch on Sunday, March 22 at Tigermilk Canal, because every good conversation deserves to be accompanied by coffee and a croissant.

Culture lovers won’t be left out, with a musical evening featuring the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris on March 26, before wrapping up the month with a visit to the Château de Vincennes on March 29—the perfect opportunity to get some fresh air and stretch our legs.

As always, our association thrives thanks to the enthusiasm and involvement of its members. We are therefore always looking for volunteers (no superhero cape required!) and warmly welcome your ideas for outings and activities. An exhibition, a walk, a hidden café? Write to us—we love great suggestions.

Whether you’ve just arrived in Paris or have been here for years, I hope these events will inspire you to join us and share some wonderful moments together. I very much look forward to seeing many of you at these gatherings.

For the Executive Committee :We look forward to seeing you very soon,
Annabelle and the Executive Committee: Mayssane and Vanessa
