Dear members,
I hope you all had a wonderful month of May and were able to have nice getaways over the long weekends. A big thank you to all those who came to our stroll and teatime in the Bastille area.
June brings our Annual General Meeting, a chance to come together to reflect on the past year, and most importantly, elect our new Executive Board for the coming year. You will have received the convocation for this in a separate email. However, the information is also included below.
There will be a few more opportunities to get together in June. There’s the Canadian Expat Meetup on June 17. Let’s all head to the Quebec Delegation on June 24 for Quebec’s National Day, which is always a very enjoyable evening with lively music, and excellent beer and delights from La Belle Province. Then, Canadian bars in Paris will have a festive ambience for Canada Day on July 1.
The new bar of our member Johnny Cloutier, La Québécoise, is opening on June, ouvrira 22 June (except for the 24 June when they’ll have a stand at the Fête Nationale du Québec). So I encourage you to go check it out and we’ll certainly be organizing an event there in the fall.
The ACP takes a break during the summer; I imagine many of us will be heading to Canada or other beautiful destinations.
