From 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM
By walking through the covered passages around the Royal Palace (Galerie Véro-Dodat, Galerie Vivienne, Galerie Colbert and Passage Choiseul), we will discover the habits and customs of the romantic world of the 19th century and we will dive into a completely different era, shelter from the city frenzy.
Originally, the Passages Couverts were places of consumption and entertainment for high society in the first half of the 19th century. They each evoke the memory of the personalities who have passed through them. Nowadays, the great fashion designers find their place there and the covered passages are all classified in the inventory of Historic Monuments.
We will see timeless boutiques in the Galerie Vérot-Dodat. The spy of the passages will be waiting for us at the Galerie Vivienne, the beautiful Eurydice will be bitten by a snake under the gigantic dome of the Galerie Colbert and we may come across some artists in the Passage Choiseul.
We will end with a tea or a chocolate for those who wish.
See you soon.
