Save the Date – Private Guided Tour in English: “First Nations – Arts and Cultures of the Northwest Coast of America”

Save the date! The Association des Canadiennes à Paris invites you to a private guided tour in English of the exhibition First Nations – Arts and Cultures of the Northwest Coast of America at the Musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac. Along nearly 1,800 kilometres of coastline and across a rich diversity of languages and communities, the First Nations of the Pacific Northwest developed artistic traditions deeply connected to their worldview. Discover an art inhabited by powerful beings and spirit animals, with masks, clothing, everyday objects and heraldic poles conveying ancestral stories, knowledge and rights.

After the tour, we’ll invite anyone who is interested to continue the afternoon over coffee and conversation.

The tour will be conducted in English and will be limited to 25 participants. Pricing and registration details will be announced shortly. The optional coffee gathering after the tour will be at participants’ own expense.
